Todd Hooper, CEO, Zipline Games

Todd is a twenty year veteran of high tech companies including Apple Computer and WatchGuard. Since moving to Seattle in 1998 he has founded two companies in the media and enterprise markets.

Todd was first bitten by the entrepreneur bug in high school when he developed a number of video games for Commodore computers, and Zipline represents a welcome return to his gaming roots

Grant Goodale, CEO, Massively Fun

Grant is the founder and CEO of Massively Fun, a game studio focused on building top quality experiences for the web and mobile devices using open web technologies.

Randy Chung, Founder, Zhurosoft

In 2009, Randy Chung and David Tsai founded Zhurosoft, Inc., specializing in social/casual mobile games. Their first breakout title was High School Hero, launched in Q1 2010. They soon followed this with the release of a fantasy-themed spin-off called Fantasy Hero. Their latest title is Monster Kingdom, one of the few social/casual games to feature head-to-head play. Zhurosoft has been entirely self-funded, and is currently based in Seattle's Pioneer Square.

For those of you with innovative game ideas, this is your opportunity to present to a panel of judges for an opportunity to win a $2,500 cash prize. Those who are interested need to register and apply in advance by October 26th. The top 5 submissions will present Saturday afternoon to our panel of industry luminaries.

More than just a competition, we’ll spend the day talking with industry experts in our Founder's Sessions. Here we will discuss the cornerstone issues that Founders in the game industry need to know. Come to present, or come to attend the workshops and see the latest indie game projects, either way – this will be the place to be!

Perrin Kaplan, Principal, Zebra Partners
As former Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs for Nintendo of America Inc., Perrin oversaw many aspects of internationally recognized marketing and public relations programs. She oversaw all public relations, public and government affairs, investor relations, internal communications, international communications and community relations for the global company. She is a well-known spokesperson and has brought great personality to many of her interviews. Before joining Nintendo, Kaplan served as Vice President for The Rockey Company, a nationally recognized Seattle-based public relations and public affairs firm. Prior to that, Kaplan was in journalism with KING Broadcasting, Seattle's NBC affiliate, and managed political communications for the state capitol and several White House campaigns.

Kaplan craves the constant change of new media and creating 'firsts' on how to meld it with traditional marketing.

Kaplan is deeply involved in numerous non-profit and advocacy activities, including animal rescue, and cancer education. She is a jokester, loves to cook and only exercises because she has to.

Susan Lusty has worked in consumer technology on both sides (editorial and PR) for 20 years. During this time, she has successfully launched, promoted, and re?positioned many consumer technology companies and their products in both national and international markets. Susan’s expertise lies in strategic thinking, and, being a former editor, she maintains a deep understanding of the media and how to reach them. For the last 10 years, Susan has been an independent PR contractor based in Seattle, WA. Susan has worked with such companies as Electronic Arts Mobile and Online, Red Rocket Games, Apple Computer, Bungie, Electronic Arts Los Angeles, Monolith, InfoSeek, Tapwave, Capital Entertainment Group, Epic Games, GameFly, Core Design (Tomb Raider), Wideload Games, Aspyr Media, WizKids, DreamCatcher, JoWooD, Cryo Interactive, Bunchball and others.

Prior to consulting, she was a Director II (Vice President) at Corporate Technology Communications (CTC, now part of Ketchum) in Chicago, where she managed a team of PR executives and oversaw CTC’s PR activities for Verio, Bell & Howell, InstallShield and Océ.

Before her brief stint in the Midwest, Susan was a Vice President for Technology Solutions, Inc. (TSI, now part of Golin Harris) in the Bay Area, during which time she opened their Digital Consumer Group/West, and built a strong team of PR executives. Her team obtained and managed both Internet and game entertainment clients.

Before joining TSI, Susan held the position of Director of Communications for Imagine Media (now Future) while simultaneously managing marketing and PR activities in the U.S for Cryo Interactive (a Paris, France, based company). She also worked at Switzer PR overseeing such clients as HarperCollins Interactive, Discovery Channel Interactive, InfoSeek and other businessto? consumer accounts. Susan started her career working for International Data Group (IDG) as an editor at PC World Magazine, moving on to become Managing Editor for GamePro Magazine. She also freelanced for Might Magazine, Dave Eggers’ magazine.
